kiyoshi's help ver.13

MandrivaやPClinuxOSでは、grub legacyの設定ファイルmenu.lstでのkernel行やinitrd行で指定するカーネルやinitramfsのフルパスの先頭に、パーティションのgrub legacyでの表記が付け加わります。
これはこれで、便利な機能なのですが、kiyoshi's helpのversion 12以前のものでは、kexecできずに、そのままでは失敗するので、cで編集モードに入って、手入力でパーティションのgrub legacyでの表記、たとえば
(hd0,5)
とかを削除する必要がありました。
よく考えてみると、どうせ、そんな表記はkexecでは利用できるわけもないので、とりあえず、自動でそのような表記を削除させることにしました。

version 12からの変更はinitのたったの2行なので、version 12のブログを修正しようかと思ったのですが、機能的にはかなりの進歩なので、version 13としました。本当なら、12.1って感じでしょうね。

使用方法は、version 12と同じですが、ごちゃごちゃしているので、改めて記します。

Ubuntu10.10で起動してkexec-toolsをインストール。

これでinitramfs、つまりkiyoshi's helpは完成。

grub4dosを利用できるようにする。その方法はこちらを。

そして、grub4dosでkiyoshi's helpを利用できるように設定する。その方法は以下。

BIOSが認識できるパーティションをマウント。そのマウントポイント、たとえば
/media/windows
を以下では★と記します。
その中に、適当な名前のディレクトリを作ります。たとえば、
kiyoshishelp13
です。これを以下では◆と記します。

$ uname -r
でカーネルのバージョンを調べます。たとえば、
2.6.35-24-generic
です。これを以下では、■と記します。

~/init$ cd ..

~$ sudo cp initrd.img-kiyo2 ★/◆/
$ sudo cp /boot/vmlinuz-$(uname -r) ★/◆/

$ sudo nano ★/menu.lst
